Contributing to the Leading Note Foundation
The Leading Note Foundation is a charitable organization (No. 83246 7153 RR0001) that depends entirely on donations and grants in order to offer its OrKidstra programs. The support from the community so far has been nothing short of phenomenal and we are extremely grateful to all of our donors. If you would like to help to support our programs, you can:
Make a Monetary Donation
You may make a donation by simply printing out and completing our
donation form and sending it to us with either a cheque or your credit card information. Or, you can stop in at The Leading Note music store
at any time (where we can accept debit and credit card donations). We will acknowledge your donation with a thank you letter and an income tax receipt.
Make an On-line Donation using CanadaHelps
CanadaHelps offers an on-line service for making donations to charitable organizations. An income tax receipt will be provided directly from CanadaHelps and you have the option of either providing your contact information to us or remaining anonymous. You may also choose to set up regularly scheduled monthly donations.
Donate Through the United Way
The annual United Way
campaign is now underway and we encourage you to consider designating your contribution to go to The Leading Note Foundation. Simply input our BN/Registration Number (83246 7153 RR0001) in section One of the United Way form.
Pay cheque donations through the United Way, with The Leading Note Foundation specified as the recipient, are a convenient way to support our program. This approach has the added benefit of providing us with a consistent source of funding (which is extremely valulable to us) and spreading your donation out over the entire year.
Donate a Musical Instrument
Simply print out and complete our
instrument donation form and bring it along with the instrument to The Leading Note music store
. We will then have the instrument appraised and send you a thank you letter along with an income tax receipt for the evaluated amount of the instrument.
We would like to acknowledge our donors in the Our Donors section of our web site. However, if you would prefer to remain anonymous we will certainly respect your wishes. Please let us know.
